In this Maya Speed Modeling video, I will be showing my workflow for creating and texturing Organic Surfaces and Cloth for a character.

In this Character Modeling Breakdown, I use the following 3D Modeling Techniques :

► Retopology and UVs was done in Maya.
► Concepting work and sculpted details were created in Zbrush.
► Textures were done in Substance Painter

I jump in between Maya and Zbrush to create the model. I like Maya to create the base shapes of some objects along with re topology to get clean edgeflow. I like to use Zbrush for concepting work and sculpt details in the mesh which can the be baked out as normal maps and taken into substance for further refinement.

This workflow can be used to create game art assets or for TV and films.
