The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) managed victory in the tightly contested Bihar assembly elections on Wednesday night. The BJP-JDU led alliance crossed the majority mark with 125 seats in the 243-member Bihar assembly.

According to the latest update, the crucial meeting between all NDA parties is currently underway over the formation of Bihar government. Nitish Kumar is elected as NDA leader. Nitish Kumar's swearing-in ceremony as Bihar Chief Minister will be held on Monday. On the other hand, BJP's Sushil Modi to continued as Bihar's deputy Chief Minister.
