Step 1: You are going to want to make sure that you are updated to the most recent OS available for you particular device which for iPhone 4S will be 6.1.3 and for iPhone 5 will be 6.1.4 - http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

Step 3: Once you have the ipsw in your directory ready to go, you are going to go to your device on iTunes where you see the "Check For Update" tab, and then you are going to click and hold "Shift" and then click the tab (If you are on a Mac it will be the "Option" key, and then find where you put the ios7 ipsw and then use it.. Once this is started you are going to let the phone update, and then youu let the phone just update, and then once it is ready you set up your device and then it will run like I have shown in the video
