Fried Tomato Sandwich - Remix! (1955) on Sandwiches of History

The other week I tried the Fried Tomato Sandwich from “Meta Given’s New Encyclopedia of Cooking” from 1955. The original recipe call for assembling everything then dipping in an egg/milk mixture, then cracker crumbs, then frying. It was a tasty if not messy affair. So today, I making it two different ways. The first will be me just trying the make the original work better. The second will be me plussing up the flavors and trying a slightly different approach to assembly. Special programming not, I am not a chef nor trained in the culinary arts so please keep that in mind. Also, for some reason, the auto-focus on my DSLR crapped out in the middle for a brief time. Sorry about that.
