The AMP S is designed to be ridden more from the tail, like a surfboard, rather than from the middle like some downwind or wing boards.

Tucker then walks through the battery process: charging each of the two batteries individually (the kit includes only one charger), ensuring both are charged to at least 50% for an optimal ride. He explains how to properly connect the batteries and slide the assembled unit into the carbon fiber jet tube, securing it until a confirmation beep is heard. With the battery inserted, he shows how to secure the jet drive into the board using a Torx wrench—just snug enough to hide the orange indicator ring, without over-tightening.

On the opposite side of the board, the Launchpad controller is pre-installed, and Tucker recommends leaving it in place unless charging is needed. The Launchpad includes several preset ride profiles—prone, wing, downwind—and users can customize or revert these settings easily through the app.

Perhaps the most crucial tip Tucker shares is to update the firmware before heading to the water. He learned the hard way during his first session when he set everything up at the beach, only to discover he needed to update the Launchpad and jet drive before the board would work. He advises downloading the app, registering the product, and updating the firmware as soon as the board arrives to avoid any delays or frustrations.

Tucker closes by sharing his excitement about the AMP S setup, noting how it opens new doors for multi-use foiling with a single board, and teases future videos with more ride settings, reviews, and performance breakdowns.
