Located at a distance of 135 kms from haldwani ( a 4 hr + drive) in the middle of dense devdar forest,Jageshwar is one of the Jyotriling which is quite famous among hindus.Its a place where pandavs did their medidation .

There are 124 temples located in the campus each devoted to various gods . If you visiting uttarakhand this is a highly recomended place.

The route towards Jageshwar is breathtaking.
Its also highly recomended to all the bikers who love riding bikes in mountains .You will get beautiful scenic views for sure :) .

There are two routes to visit Jageshwar :
1. via Almora(a common route) but prone to landslides (not recomended during rains)
2 . via Padampuri-Suakhan (very beautiful and scenic and also a safe option during rains)
