Berlin's only dog café - Fellfreunde

Entrepreneurs Nadine and Claudia sit down to tell us how they launched Fellfreunde ("Fur Friends"), Germany's first (and so far only) dog café. Dog lovers can hang out in the cozy interior or the sunny garden, eat and drink yummy treats including doggie ice cream and doggie "spaghetti" from the carefully planned menu.

Their enthusiasm and thoughtful design has not only created a haven for people who want to take a break with their dogs, but a welcoming space where pet-deprived city dwellers get a chance to make new friends both with and without fur.

Lucy couldn’t care less that this ball glows in the dark, although it helps us on those winter nights. She loves how it feels in her mouth, and we love it because it is virtually indestructible. We use this in the ball thrower instead of the fuzzy tennis ball that comes with it - yuck.
