i experienced the legacy console edition on minecraft java in 2024.

All of these memories are flooding back to me.



I saw this modpack when I was browsing on YouTube and I really wanted to try it out. Once I was able to get it to run with Azul, I was astonished at how really well the whole legacy console layout was replicated in Java edition. It genuinely feel like I'm back in those days where I was really addicted playing on the PlayStation 4. (I do wish I still have those video recordings back in 2016-2018, but I'm gonna have to wait a little longer for the old storage device to get repaired.) It does feel a little weird playing it with a keyboard and mouse (since I grew up playing in version with a controller), but it doesn't really ruin the experience as I was still distracted by the nostalgia. Other than that, the team who made this modpack did a great job replicating most of our childhood who played this based version on their gaming console.

(I also realized that the music is pretty loud whenever I was recording this (since I didn't have my earbuds plugged in during this time (in which I was also in class too lol)). I will fix this problem within the next couple of uploads, so for now, please bare with the overpowering music.)
