I show direct injection fuel pressure test or how to check fuel pressure with a scan tool using the XTOOL A30M. Being able to check fuel pressure with a scanner will be crucial for troubleshooting driveability issues especially when there's no CEL. If you're looking for how to check your fuel pressure, or asking will a scanner detect bad fuel pump, or looking for how to check your fuel pressure without a gauge on a GDI engine, you may find this helpful. Although done on Honda Accord 2013 – 2017, some other manufacturers also support this bi-directional test.
