Do you have trouble getting your jabs and double jabs off? Here are some simple drills to get you 1) used to the double-ended bag 2) to wake up your fast-twitch muslces and 3) to help you with your jabs in general. NOTE: This is not a tutorial on how to throw the jab or punch mechanics but these are exercises to get better quickness. In the next video I will show you some heavy-bag drills that focus on getting power and "stiff" jabs (and hooks). But here is a good place to start. Also, I'm using 16 oz. gloves in this vid and sometimes I use 20 oz. gloves, but if you are a beginner, go down to bag gloves or lower weight gloves until you get the feel for this.
