FLY FISHING MINNESOTA | WE HAD TO TALK TO THE LAND OWNER | DRY FLY FISHING WILD TROUT | DRIFTLESS

This was my first time ever getting to fish the Minnesota Driftless Region.. I seriously cannot believe it has taken me this long to get up there! I linked up with my buddy Ryan and we had a killer day! Some of the best dry fly action I have seen in a long time! We really could not go wrong. As soon as the dry fly bite would slow down, we would go to the nymph and keep hammering them! We had a little run in with the land owner who owned the lease on the land. We had parked in the wrong spot even though we were technically on public land. He was super nice and let the mistake slip for the day! Be sure to check in on all your land access rights and be well read on the laws around them! I know I will be for next time. Overall you could not ask for a better day. I am so glad I finally made the trip and got to fish with the Musky Man himself! I have to say, the Minnesota Driftless Region seems to be just as beautiful and loaded to the brim with spunky wild brown trout!
