In 2021 The Burdah Tour exploded across the UK.

The Burdah Tour trio of Sayyid Samdani, Shaykh As'ad Ali and Munshid Nizam Barbariya packed out masajid everywhere they went with their beautiful voices and mesmerising melodies. Young audiences went for the Burdah, but stayed to the very end for the #BurdahFinale - to cap unbelievably beautiful intoxicating spiritual programmes, reciting dhikr and sending endless blessings & salawat on our beloved Holy Messenger ﷺ.

THIS video is where the seeds of the #BurdahFinale were planted, where it all started, at the our Annual New Years Eve Programme 'The Ummah in Crisis' on 31st December 2017. The young talented Hafiz As'ad Ali as he was then, sang an English rendition the Burdah, with his own additional English verses. The legend of the #BurdahFinale was born.

Some half a million views of this video ever since, shows the huge thirst and pent up demand for English Nasheeds. Shaykh As'ad Ali went on the develop the idea & format with Sayyid Samdani & Munshid Nizam Babariya since this video, into full blown national (& international) Burdah Tours in 2021 & 2022 that took the UK by storm.

مَوْلَايَ صَلِّ وَسَلِّـمْ دَائِمـًا اَبـَـدًا
عَلٰى حَبِيْبِـكَ خَيْــرِ الْخَلْقِ كُلِّهِـمِ
Mawlaya salli wa sallim da’iman abadan
‘Ala habibika khayril-khalqi kullihimi ( x1 )

Oh Allah, Send peace and blessings upon Your beloved
The best and perfect creation that You have created

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ مُنْشِي الْخَلْقِ مِنْ عَدَمِ
ثُمَّ الصَّلَا ةُ عَلَي الْمُخْتَارِ فِي الْقِدَمِ
Alhamdulillahi munshi-il khalqi min ‘adami
Thummas salaatu ‘alal mukhtari fil qidamee

Look at the heavens and the earth the shining sun and the moon
When Allah made all of them he made them all just for you

There is no one like you, there is no one whose the same
So merciful is Your nature and so high is Your name

All the prophets and the messengers are in need of you
They all take sips from your ocean and desire to serve you

وَكُــلُّهُمْ مِّنْ رَّسُـوْلِ اللّٰهِ مُلْتَمِـسٌ
غَرْفًا مِّنَ الْبَحْرِ اَوْ رَشْفًا مِّنَ الدِّيَـمِ
Wa kulluhum mir Rasulillahi multamisun
Gharfam minal bahri aw rashfam minad diyami

There is no one like you, there is no one who's the same
So merciful is Your nature and so high is Your name

The lord has sworn by the beauty of the curls in Your hair
And by the place of Your birth and by the cloak that You wear
The lord has sworn by the beauty of the Noor on Your face
O Beautiful, Mustafa bless your servants with one gaze

نَعَمْ سَرَى طَيْفُ مَنْ أَهْوَى فَـأَرَّقَنِيْ
وَالْحُبُّ يَعْتَـرِضُ اللَّـذَّاتِ بِالْأَلَـمِ
Na’am sara tayfu man ahwa fa arraqani,
Wal hubbu ya’taridul ladhdhati bil alami

So beautiful were moments with Siddique in the cave
He stood by you all his life and sleeps by you in the grave

Look at Abu Bakr(RA), Umar(RA), Uthman(RA) and Maula Ali(RA)
We love them for they have spent their lives in Your company

ثُمَّ الرِّضَـا عَنْ أَبِيْ بَكْرٍ وَّعَنْ عُمَرَ
وَعَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَّعَنْ عُثْمَـانَ ذِي الْكَرَمِ
Thummar Ridha ‘an Abi Bakriw wa ‘an ‘Umarin
Wa ‘an ‘Aliyyiw wa ‘an ‘Uthmana Dhil Karami

Ya Mustafa, Have mercy for the sake of Your family
The two princes of jannah and Fatima and Ali

يَا رَبَّ بِالْمُصْطَفٰى بَلَّغْ مَقَاصِدَنَا
وَاغْفِرْلَنَا مَا مَضٰى يَا وَاسَعَ الْكَرَمِ
Ya Rabbi bil Mustafa balig ma Qaasidana
Waghfir lana ma ma dha ya wasi ‘al karami
