MicParts DIY C12 and AKG P170 // Sungha Jung Signature // La Patrie Concert Classical

Описание к видео MicParts DIY C12 and AKG P170 // Sungha Jung Signature // La Patrie Concert Classical

My room is not acoustically treated, I just wanted to upload something because when I was thinking of ordering this microphone (MicParts DIY) I couldn't find many videos on it. Love the microphone, would highly recommend. The P170 is the first pencil condenser microphone I bought. Would also highly recommend this as a first microphone, it does what a microphone should do!

This was intended to demonstrate the differences between the P170 and the MicParts DIY C12 capsule -- however I did a stereo X-Y micing setup which defeats the purpose. This is because the microphone capsules are not pointed in the same sound source area of the guitar, but rather at different sides of the guitar.

Make sure when you're doing a microphone shootout that you have your sound source directly in front of the capsule each time!
