How to ollie off a small ledge is all about your ability to ollie off a curb. If you know hot to ollie up and down a curb you're ready to try to ollie off your first small ledge. At the Fanwood Skatepark in New Jeresey there is a perfect beginner ledge to ollie off. First you want to ride off the small ledge to get use to the feeling of landing on your board off the ledge. There is going to be more pressue you need to absorb when riding off a small ledge compared to a curb. The bigger the ledge the more you will have to bend your knees to absorb the pressure. But make sure you get the right timing of poping the skateboards tail off the ground so you can accomplish perfomring the ollie. Also having good speed helps. And as long as you have your ollies mastered and have confidence you will land the ollie off the small ledge. Once you complete the small ledge you can move onto ollie bigger ledges and stair sets.
