"I Can't Get Next To You"- w/ David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks - The Temptations Reunion (Edited)

The seven-man Temptations lineup does "I Can't Get Next To You", which is probably the best song the group of that size could've done! (1983).
I converted the audio to mono, and removed the middle part of the hosts talking. Thanks to the original uploader, ‪@r.ferrera4310‬, as there is no other recording of this! It seems to be a home recording, so hopefully an official/better quality source is found.

There is also a performance from this show, "Solid Gold", from the Temptations. Eddie Kendricks performs "Just My Imagination". You can also find that online. (It doesn't have live vocals unfortunately.)
This also seems to be the first time David Ruffin performed this song with the group!
The reunion happened not too long after the Temptations return to Motown! The members featured consisted of the current Temptations Glenn, Melvin, Otis, and Richard. Returning to the group were Eddie, David, and Dennis. Dennis would stay with the group after the Reunion ended.
The missing members are Paul Williams, Elbridge Bryant, Damon Harris, and Louis Price. Paul and Elbridge had both passed away by this point, and Louis had just left the group within the last couple of years. Damon Harris was probably not back due to the fact there was already two tenors, but he was a major part of the Temptations retaining their star status moving into the 70s, imo.
It would've been cool to feature James Jamerson! He was often regarded in the early days as the "sixth" Temptation, as his bass was so prominent and defining in their younger years. He had passed away about a year after the reunion.
This performance was my first exposure to Glenn Leonard when I got into the Temptations! Now, he's one of my favorite Tempts.
