What are we dealing with?

[EXT. JUNGLE – DAY]

(Jack and Evan move through dense trees. Jack cuts vines with a machete. Evan checks strange claw marks on a tree.)

EVAN
These aren’t normal lions. Look at the size of this…

JACK
(monotone)
It’s hunting us. And it’s smart.

[EXT. RIVERBED – SUNSET]

(They find the remains of a destroyed camp. Clawed tents. Drag marks. Blood.)

EVAN
How could one animal do all this?

JACK
(mutters)
It’s not just an animal. It’s the shadow in the darkness.

[EXT. JUNGLE – NIGHT – FINAL SHOWDOWN]

(Jack and Evan set up traps. They breathe heavily, hiding behind trees. The lion appears—huge, scarred, and silent.)

EVAN
(whispers)
Now, Jack!

(Jack jumps out, shouting and throwing a spear. The lion charges. Gunfire, roars, and chaos fill the night.)
