Pico Grande: Epic Drone Footage of a Secret Hike in Madeira // Pico grande is one of our favourite hikes on Madeira island in Portugal for a few reasons. First, it offers incredible 360-degree views of Pico do Arieiro, Pico Ruivo, and so many other incredible mountain ranges in Madeira. Second, not very many people know about it! We saw 1 trail runner in the first 3 hours of our hike, how amazing is that?! And lastly, it was made for a drone! Actually, the entire island of Madeira is drone-worthy, but this hike really blew us out of the water. Make sure to add Madeira to your list when travelling Portugal and don’t miss this jaw-dropping hike!
