SELF-iSH: A Deep Dive

Описание к видео SELF-iSH: A Deep Dive

A few years back, I noticed a song in my YouTube recommendations with a strange looking album cover. The title sounded cool, too - 'Dr. Sunshine is Dead'. Not only did the song hold up, but the album it was a part of was incredible. Not a single song that I haven't listened to over and over again. SELF-iSH isn't Will Wood's most popular album, but I'll die on the hill that it's underrated, and quite possibly his best.

There's a lot of meaning, both hidden and obvious, tucked away in the lyrics. A friend of mine who loves Willard wanted me to cover him in a video, and so I thought I'd take a crack at deciphering just what these songs mean. And yes, I KNOW there's supposed to be no official narrative for the album. But I had fun doing this regardless.

If you liked the video, consider leaving a digital token of your appreciation in the form of likes, comments, or possibly even subscriptions. Any of those is appreciated, even if it's hate comments. And as always, feel free to let me know if you have any suggestions for future videos!
