A Dream Fulfilled - Thenesh Anbalagan, 2019 Tunku Scholar

Thenesh’s dream to secure a scholarship to read Law at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) was delayed when he did not secure a placement at UKM or a scholarship to fund his tertiary education.

Despite multiple rejection emails, Thenesh appealed to read Law in UKM and continued to reapply for the Tunku Abdul Rahman Scholarship until he received emails of acceptance to pursue his dream.

Thenesh recently graduated from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia as one of the best Law students for the class of 2021 and was awarded the Tun Abdul Razak Award.
