SIDEM - The Barrel - Loading and Unloading of the membranes

The Barrel is SIDEM's flagship technology for reuse and desalination applications. Simpler to deliver, faster to install and safer to operate, it provides a better return on investment of the plant.
In this short video, you will discover how the RO/NF membranes can be easily inserted inside a 5000m3/d B7 unit.
The maintenance team can enter the Barrel through manholes located at both sides of the unit. The operation requires very basic equipement and few manhours.
The Barrel is suitable for any kind of 8" spiral wound membranes.
