মেঘবাড়ি রিসোর্ট ঢাকার একদম কাছে গাজীপুরের কালীগঞ্জে অবস্থিত। ঢাকা থেকে খুব সহজেই চলে যাওয়া যায় এই রিসোর্টে। ঢাকার কাছের রিসোর্ট গুলোর মধ্যে এই মেঘবাড়ি রিসোর্টই একটি অন্যতম রিসোর্ট যেখানে রুম না নিয়েও শুধু এন্ট্রি ফি দিয়ে ঢুকা যায়। আলাদা করে সুইমিং, লাঞ্চ করে ঘুরে আসা যায়।

আমরা ৬ জন মেঘবাড়ি রিসোর্টে দুইটা রুম নেই ২৪ ঘন্টার জন্য। মেঘবাড়ি রিসোর্টে আসার আমাদের অন্যতম একটি কারণ ছিলো তাদের বিশাল সুইমিং পুল। আর ঢাকার কাছে হওয়ায় আমরা যাতে পরদিন তাড়াতাড়ি আবার বাসায় যেতে পারি এটাও একটা কারণ ছিলো।

Meghbari Resort is located in Kaliganj, Gazipur, very close to Dhaka. This resort can be easily reached from Dhaka. Among the resorts near Dhaka, this Meghbari resort is one of the resorts where you can enter without taking a room just by paying the entry fee. Swimming, lunch can be done separately.

We, 6 friends have two rooms in Meghbari resort for 24 hours. One of the reasons we came to Meghbari Resort was their huge swimming pool. And being near Dhaka was also a reason that we could go home early the next day.

Meghbari Resort is a unique place in Nagarvella , Ulokhola, Kaliganj, Gazipur near from Dhaka city. Where you can enjoy picnics and stay in luxurious accommodations and enjoy the natural beauty of the rain forest and entertainment of its children's park.

One can easily come to this resort near Dhaka via public or private Transport. First, he/she will have to come to Abdullahpur, Uttara. From there Auto/CNGs are available to get to Meghbari resort in Kaliganj. It's possible to come to this resort via Purbachal 300 ft road as well.

Although this resort appeals a lot being so close to Dhaka, there are some flaws as well. One might not particularly like their lack of open spaces and a bit of old traditional get-up. One might also say the management of Meghbari resort is not that professional considering the price.

However, the swimming pool, a little park inside, nicely put rooms and good enough food make this Meghbari Resort somewhat recommendable. But the most attractive part of this resort near Dhaka is its flexible packages. This also makes it a public place though.

To have a swimming day out, people can come here to Meghbari Resort to access the swimming pool for 200/- per person. The entry fee is separate which is 100/- per person. People can have their lunch inside as well with 2-3 different platters.

Meghbari resort offers quite a few platters for lunch and dinner. For lunch, the Chinese platter is quite a good option. And for Dinner, the bbq platter is very suitable for the place. Though the bbq platter is a bit pricy here in Meghbari Resort, it's the most delicious one I guess.

Overall this Meghbari resort might be a very good recommendation for a day tour without breaking the bank. For the people living at and around Uttara, this resort is just 40 mins away for a cheap day out or to have a fun holiday. Among other resorts near Dhaka, Meghbari resort is a good enough option for a day trip. However, there are better resorts for a standard 24 hours stay.
