Union Home Minister Amit Shah praised National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) for excelling in the field of disaster relief around the world. Shah said India’s capacity in disaster management is at par with many countries in the world. While recalling the Gujarat earthquake in 2001 and 1999 Odisha cyclone, Shah said that India can now deal with cyclones effectively.
