The All-New 2025 BAIC Beijing BJ30e hybrid edition has been officially released. It embraces the latest design language, with further increased body size, and is equipped with a 1.5T hybrid system.
2025 BAIC Beijing BJ30e, positioned as a "light off-road" model, maintains the distinctive "Beijing" brand family style in its design. For instance, it retains the iconic five-hole style on the front face, albeit with a notable alteration from the previous grille. Now, it features a "five-hole star ring daytime running light belt" encased in a transparent shell, enhancing its recognizability especially when illuminated.
The dimensions of the new Beijing BJ30e measure 4730 mm in length, 1910 mm in width, and 1757 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2820 mm. Notably larger than its predecessor, particularly with a wheelbase surpassing that of some medium-sized SUVs, the new BJ30 boasts a square box shape. Its design features horizontal and vertical lines along the sides, complemented by black wheel arches and decorative strips, evoking a rugged off-road aesthetic. Similar to the BJ40, the car undergoes modifications in the design of the C-pillar and D-pillar, enhancing its fashionable appeal.
When it comes to the interior, the 2025 Beijing BJ30e comes equipped with a striking 10.25-inch + 14.6-inch dual-screen combination, powered by an 8155 chip. This represents a significant upgrade from the previous generation model. Additionally, the air conditioner's air outlet beneath the central control adopts a bar-type design, effectively enhancing the visual width within the car's cabin.
In the new BJ30e, the rear seats are ingeniously designed to fold completely flat, significantly expanding the upper limit of the trunk space. With this configuration, the depth of the trunk can extend up to 1920mm. Furthermore, the trunk features multiple anchor points, providing convenience for utilizing nets and other securing methods.
In terms of power, the BJ30e hybrid edition boasts a robust 1.5T hybrid system. Featuring the A156T2H engine, the 1.5T powerplant delivers a maximum power output of 116kW and a peak torque of 235N·m, with an impressive thermal efficiency of 41%. The system's combined maximum power reaches 206kW, coupled with a peak torque of 450N·m. Accelerating from 0 to 100km/h takes just 7.54 seconds. According to official statements, the car's comprehensive cruising range extends up to 1000 kilometers.
