We found Rubin, who was leading the Swedish Hockey League at the time of recording with three shutouts in four games for a 0.76 GAA and a .962 SV%, through a newspaper article detailing an unusual on-ice training method he has used since last summer. Beyond innovative training with his goaltending coach Kristoffer Martin we talk about Swedish Hockey, his own development and current game-day routines as well as an interesting look at mental fatigue and his use of breathing exercises in-game to remain sharp.
