Royal Enfield Classic 350 is as much as looks like its elder sibling Classic 500. But this new edition of 2020 gets some improvements like a redesigned fuel tank, new tail light and exhaust, a pair of new alloy wheels, and a semi-digital dashboard. Royal Enfield first came limelight back in 1997, Royal Enfield didn’t make any changes in Classic 350. But in the beginning of 2020, they launched a newly designed Classic 350 in the market. This new edition gets some cosmetic changes like a redesigned sculpted fuel tank, retro tail light, new exhaust set-up, pair of new alloy wheels and more. There is no doubt that Royal Enfield made this one as an attention seeker. The pan-head-styled headlight unit is now available with windshield and pilot lamps. The front and rear mudguards cover almost half the circumference of both wheels and the wheels are also get improved. The spoke wheels represent the classic look of Royal Enfield. The new version of Classic 350 has a semi-digital dashboard that wasn’t the previous one. The speedometer of this bike is analog. But the other features like trip meter, fuel gauge, and low fuel indicator features are shown on the digital display. So many color variants of Royal Enfield 350 including Orange, Ember, Stealth Black, Chrome Black, Strome Rider Sand, Classic Black and Metallo Silver color variants launched in Bangladesh. Royal Enfield Classic 350 houses a Single cylinder, 4-stroke, air-cooled, fuel injection, 346cc engine that can burn out 19.8 Bhp maximum power at 5250 rpm and 28 Nm of torque at 4000 rpm. But as a 350cc cruiser bike, this motorcycle should have a liquid-cooled engine. As the record says, this motorcycle can hit the top speed of 135 km/h. But it started to vibrate after 80 to 90 km/h speed at the same time providing approximately 32-35 km/l average mileage. The engine mated with a 5-speed gearbox and wet multi-plate clutch.
Royal Enfield is the oldest motorcycle manufacturer company in the world established in 1901 by launching a 239cc motorcycle. It’s headquarter is at Redditch, Worcestershire in Britain. Before manufacturing two-wheelers, they were manufacturing canon and riffle. Till now they use the canon symbol as their brand logo to tell everybody about their story. In 1955, they stated their business in India in partnership with Madras Motors which is in Chennai. They were first introduced Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in the market and it got a huge response from the bikers. Even the Indian government choose Bullet 350 for their Army and Police force to border patrol in 1965. Royal Enfield started in the last decade of eighteenth century in Enfield, London as “Royal Enfield Small Arms Factory”. Later on, the company introduced four-wheeler bicycles, the first motorcycle launched in 1901. Royal Enfield manufactured a larger quantity of 125cc motorcycles to be used in World War II in 1939.
In 1949 Royal Enfiled was set in India through Madras Motors by K. R. Sundaram Iyer, Royal Enfiled made 800 350cc Bulletsa for the Indian army. In 1994, Eicher Group acquired Enfield India Limited owned by Redditch & Madras Motors.
In this prolonged timespan, Royal Enfiled came through improvement, adaption, and evaluation accordingly. Now its time to hit Bangladesh by IFAD Motors Limited. Royal Enfield is not a mere brand rather it has been established as a motorcycle culture in India through several effective steps taken by Royal Enfield Motors Limited. Being a neighboring country Royal Enfield gets exposure in Bangladesh. Although other Indian brands are operating business in Bangladesh earlier, Royal Enfield couldn’t enter because of cc limitation. Royal Enfiled’s motorcycles are equipped with a minimum 350 cc engine whereas Bangladesh had up to 165 cc engines before, recently BRTA has officially extended the motorcycle cc limit up to 375cc , so IFAD Motors Limited grabbed this opportunity to make the dream of thousands of bikers.
