Assamese in Greenland | Copenhagen to Kangerlussuaq Airport | Arctic Circle | Sightseeing | Part 1

And this is the video, guys, where the Assamese couple from Assam finally arrive in Greenland! We take a morning flight from Copenhagen in Denmark to Kangerlussuaq in Greenland courtesy of our Air Greenland flight. The flight took over 4 hours and it was exciting to see all the icebergs and snow covered mountains as we approached the east coast of Greenland. Kangerlussuaq has the one and only international airport in Greenland and we would be spending two nights at this place, which was earlier an American military base called Sondestrom. Kangerlussuaq is the entry point to walk on the second largest ice cap or ice sheet in the world and one of the best places to view the northern lights or Aurora Borealis, and this is also why we wanted to visit this place over Nuuk, for instance. After arriving in Kangerlussuaq, we check into the Polar Lodge and then dress up in winter clothes before heading out for a sightseeing of the Kangerlussuaq settlement and enjoying beautiful views of the fjord and the harbor and the popular sled dogs. In the evening, we go out for dinner to Roklubben restaurant near the beautiful and tranquil lake Ferguson where we enjoy some Halibut fish and Reindeer meat before concluding this video. In the next video, which is coming soon, we will hike on the Greenlandic ice cap, which is not easy!
