I just wanted to show how easy it is to make a valve seat vacuum tester instead of spending $100 on the actual adapter.

All you need is:
A/C vacuum pump (mine is 1.8cfm rented from AutoZone)
A/C gauges (got mine on Amazon; I think you can rent these too!)
1/4” Flare x 1/4” MIP union
1/2” thick piece of PVC/plexiglass (cut mine 3x3”)
Sheet of rubber (got mine at Home Depot sold as 6x6 rubber packing sheet)
construction adhesive or something to join the rubber to the plexiglass; also can use to create tight seal between adapter thread into plexi)
