Against the Black Knight (FE8 GBA Soundfont) - Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance Remix

Here is my GBA cover of 'Against the Black Knight' from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. This track serves as the boss battle theme when facing the Black Knight in FE9. This track would later be remastered in FE10, Radiant Dawn, under the title 'Unstoppable Destiny.'

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance is a 2005 tactical role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and Nintendo SPD, and published by Nintendo for the GameCube.

Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn is a tactical role-playing game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo. It is the tenth Fire Emblem series title and the first and only entry on the Wii. The game is a direct sequel to the events of the Nintendo GameCube title Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance.

The Black Knight is one of Daein's Four Riders and wielder of the blessed sword Alondite. Once an apprentice to Ike's father, Greil, the two eventually duel, resulting in Greil's defeat. Thought to be dead after losing to Ike and the blessed sword Ragnell, the Black Knight survives and comes to the aid of Micaiah, the leader of the Dawn Brigade, a band of Daein freedom fighters.


This cover was made using the soundfont of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones on the Gameboy Advance. I used AnvilStudio and FEBuilder in order to create this. The track is fully usable in potential ROM hacks.
