Remembering eighty years of liberation of the village of Valkenswaard (Southern Netherlands near Belgium).

As part of the Market Garden operation a corridor was forced into Nazi occupied North-Brabant. Therefor this part of Holland was liberated (September 2044) before the winter and didn't suffer from what later the "hongerwinter" was called, which killed many in the west of Holland.
