When I read the title of this video I think to myself, how did we get here? Both very tough environments for kids that are autistic. We have been helping her have really positive dentist appointments over the last few years after a really bad experience. I think we have finally worked past that traumatic memory.

As for the haircut. She has only had one bad experience at the salon in her life. She really loves hair cutting and I think that helps a lot with the sensory aspect. When something is being enjoyed, it makes tough environments more tolerable. #weefam #autism
