80-110 MPH Amtrak Trains At Railroad Crossings!!!

Описание к видео 80-110 MPH Amtrak Trains At Railroad Crossings!!!

**NOTE** The speed limit thru the crossings is 110 MPH, but actual train speeds vary because of the following:
Signal indication for the train, how heavy/long the train is, locomotive performance and other variables.
FRA regulations allow for trains in America to travel up to 125 MPH thru crossings, although anything above 110 MPH requires special crash-resistant crossing gates that can stop a motor vehicle moving at 40 MPH, and they must be quadrant gates to avoid cars driving around them.
No such crossing exists in America where a train travels above 110 MPH.
New York, Illinois, Michigan, and Connecticut are the ONLY states in the US where trains travel 110 MPH thru at-grade railroad crossings at such speeds.

Locations seen in this video are between Colonie, NY, Statts Island Rd crossing near Schodack, NY, and several crossings at Castleton-On-Hudson.
