For quite some time, i've been on this journey of learning to create using what I have. In my case , thats been GarageBand - a usb microphone -& my voice.
For the past several years I've continued to exceed my own expectations of what can be done through the magic of the voice, layering, harmony & arrangement. Over the years, I've continued to return to this art form anytime I've felt there was room to ''cover" more ground , if you will (:
It always comes down to figuring out how many layers of vocals are needed to get a song to feel 'full' enough.
Whether or not these songs will ever feel full enough to me is a discussion for another time lol
What I do know is that the evolution from 2019 to Now has never been more clear to me. It has been a challenge to work through my need for things to be perfect Or the need for the 'right' equipment, pitch, sound, levels, etc.
But to find value&beauty in what can be created simply using the resources available to me has been such a gift and one I'm happy to share.
