Yoshi's Island is consistently regarded as one of the Top 10 SNES games, and I will tell you it's still underrated. This game is so much fun that Nintendo tried to make an entire franchise with similar mechanics, but none of the other Yoshi games are nearly as good as this one.

This is technically Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island and I am playing it on the SNES Classic that my friend Sax Dogg got me for Xmas years ago. Last time I streamed this game on Switch using the Nintendo Switch Online service, but the SNES Classic has such good controllers that this will probably be a better experience.

I remember when this game came out in 1995. I was in 3rd grade the first time I played it, and maaaaan we rented it from Block Buster Video at least 999 more times.
