This is the longplay for Mega Man Legends, a 3D action platformer and RPG developed and published by Capcom, released for the PlayStation, Nintendo 64, PC, and PSP. This is the PlayStation version, released in 1997 in Japan (under the name Rockman D.A.S.H.) and in 1998 worldwide.

The game's story is as follows: in the distant future, humans coexist with humans and intelligent machines; planet Earth is almost entirely covered by water, and people live on small, distant islands. To meet the machines' growing energy demand, energy is obtained through the technology of Quantum Refractors kept in the submerged ruins of the ancient civilization that inhabited the planet. These ruins are inhabited by Reaverbots, mysterious robots that guard the refractors. Ruin explorers are called Diggers, and they search for these crystals to keep the cities powered. To reach the ruins, they use giant flying vehicles. The protagonist is Mega Man Volnutt, a digger who, with the help of his sister, Roll Casket, and his adoptive grandfather, Barrel Casket, a prestigious geologist and adventurer, is searching for refractors. They are also accompanied by an active mechatronic monkey, Data. The Casket family, as they are known, travels in a ship called the Flutter. Coming off a successful exploration—in which the player learns the basics of exploration and battle—the Casket family's ship, the Flutter, begins to crash due to engine problems, and they are forced to crash-land on the nearest island, Kattelox, inhabited by a civilization. Upon impact, the ship loses its ability to fly, and Mega Man sets out to repair it. Almost simultaneously with the Kattelox accident, a group of air pirates, the Bonnes, invade the island. The Bonnes are led by Teisel Bonne, accompanied by his genius sister Tron Bonne, his robotic brother Bon Bonne, and dozens of Servbots, small yellow robots created by Tron to assist in kidnapping and treasure-stealing missions.

Upon arriving on the island, these pirates find themselves threatened by Mega Man's presence and, in an attempt to rid themselves of the blue boy, begin carrying out numerous attacks on the city and its residents. While Mega Man attempts to repair his ship, he finds himself compelled to help the residents against the Bonnes pirates' attacks. Mega Man, with the help of the police department, discovers that they are after a great treasure hidden on Kattelox, foretold by an ancient legend, which also recounts catastrophes that have utterly destroyed the island's previous civilizations several times. In this context, both begin searching for the same treasure and, in this race, uncover the mysteries behind the legend.

In this game, we control Mega Man, which, despite the name, is completely different from the others in the franchise. The gameplay is in 3D, and the hero must collect money (zenny) to buy equipment, as well as items for Roll to build new weapons. Weapons can (and should) also be upgraded. In the adventure, the hero will need to navigate labyrinths to obtain treasures, face bosses, rebuild cities, and earn the respect of the population. It's a good game, despite being a spin-off. The gameplay seems complicated at first, but it's a matter of practice. The video was made by obtaining everything, all sidequests, and all weapons at maximum level (after obtaining enough zenny, which I slightly cut in this part to make the video more watchable).
