Railroads & Catacombs is an Indie, Roguelike Deckbuilder, a Darkest Dungeon like / lite Dungeon Crawler rocking Procedural Generation and Turn Based Tactics. Plus, it’s not a sidescroller!

Think Darkest Dungeon, but you can walk into the background, as unlike Darkest Dungeon, this is not a flat 2d side scroller, as there is both a foreground, and a background that is traverse-able, and offers valid game space to be explored.

Combat wise, it somewhat like Darkest Dungeon as well, but the 4 character party of that game are combined here into 1 super character, able to take 4 actions per turn, with the possibility for more.

There are also cards, which determine your available actions, and which you can customize and strengthen as you play, using bones from your fallen foes to upgrade your cards, and thus your character’s power.

So, think Darkest Dungeon, but you are alone with nothing but your cards and your train! Choo Choo!
Be the big bad engine that could!
Railroads & Catacombs may be a card game, but it is a Turn-based tactical card game where character position really matters, as many enemy attacks can be dodged through smart play.

Railroads & Catacombs has a great sound to it too, with fitting ominous music, and good sound effects for both enemy attacks and environmental sounds, setting the atmosphere well.

Note: This is an early demo version of Railroads & Catacombs, thus any encountered bugs or other oddness is not representative of the final product.
