Hey everyone! Sometimes we all need some good comfort food, right? Well Dragon Age: Origins is one of my favorite "comfort food" games. I started the RPG genre by playing real-time turn based games like Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights. Dragon Age: Origins is a natural evolution of the formula that made those and similar games great. It has a fantastic dark fantasy world that is equal parts high fantasy and gritty horror. Swords and sorcery, dragons and fanatical religious zealots, demons and saints abominations and love stories... it's all here! It also has a fantastic and moving musical score, extremely well done voice acting, and a great story with a unique twist on the fantasy tropes that we're all used to.

Combat is tactical and challenging, especially in nightmare mode. Careful strategy and positioning must be used for every fight, or you can become quickly overwhelmed. Deep character customization is available for each class archetype, and the choices you make there have meaningful consequences for how you and your party will approach combat.

So yeah, if you can't tell, I absolutely love this game.
