Historic Sutro Tunnel between Virginia City & Dayton Nevada

Join Jeff and Sarah as they tour the historic Sutro Tunnel site, the connection between Virginia City mines and a location 3.88 miles away in Dayton, Nevada. Many of the buildings dating back to the 19th century are still standing.

The Sutro Tunnel was conceived by Adolph Sutro, who later gained fame as the wealthy businessman who became mayor and built the Sutro Baths and the second Cliff House which were both ruined by separate fires.
