This build is the best for getting into high maps quickly, it is not the best at clearing high maps if you're rich. Other builds that have spent several divine orbs WILL be better at that, but no build I've seen comes anywhere close to getting into tier 15's safely like this one.

This build will get you tanky enough to survive high tier maps the moment you're done with the campaign. For only 6-12 exalted orbs you can put an entire set of gear together that will keep you alive, do to some unique interactions. Gear for us is cheap because we're not competing on gear with the general populace. We're not building ANY resistance gear and that makes gear CHEAP.

Once you've saved up a few divine orbs while running this build, you'll be able to comfortably transition to any other Blood Mage build.

One important thing I forgot to mention from the video: Use a life flask with 50% instant healing, or 30% instant healing + Belt 20% instant healing and a life flask with 30%. If your healthbar moves for any reason, keep pressing HP potion and reposition, until your healthbar stay full.

If it's burning ground you might be dying to, spam potions, get safe, then figure out why your health bar was moving.

We still have to watch out for 3 mechanics that bypass our Armor to elemental damage reduction mechanic.
Burning Ground bypasses our armor, making it VERY scary.
The Triceretops mob from Trial of Chaos has a long range lightning blast that will bypass our armor.
There's a white minion with the same blast as the triceretops in the Ancient Vaal Machine maps.
The imps from Trial of the Sekemas have a fire ball that counts as one-frame floor mechanic, bypassing our Armor.

If any of the above mechanics hit us, we'll survive one blast due to 5,400 hp, but the second will kill us.

The other primary way I die is ground targeted lightning blasts done by some rare mobs. If two of these crit, it's possible for me to die.

Other then these mechanics, I'm pretty much immune to getting one shot by direct damage from a mob's swing or slam though, unless there's particularly bad affixes.
