Please enjoy this very moving video of the three young buffalos that were saved from impending death in honor of His Holiness the Dalai Lama’s ninetieth birthday and for the health and long, long life of His Holiness.
The buffalos will now live out the rest of their life at the Animal Liberation Sanctuary that is managed by Kopan Monastery.

Apart from having shelter and food, they listen to recordings of Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche reciting mantras, are blessed with special mantras and a Guru Rinpoche relic and each received a blessing string. They also have stupas to circunambulate at the sanctuary.

The liberation of these buffalos have been made on behalf of the entire FPMT family, and we deeply request His Holiness to have a stable life for eons, numberless like the drops in the ocean, to continuously guide us, in all lifetimes without separation.
