Hey guys! Welcome to Chang'an, the legendary capital of the Tang Dynasty where emperors ruled from the Daming Palace and the Silk Road brought the world to China's doorstep.
For this track we've used a lot of traditional Chinese instrumentation. We've got the guzheng, erhu, pipa, dizi, suona and bawu, and has been a blast to write for! Hopefully it's the perfect backdrop for study, meditation, writing, and worldbuilding.

In the heart of the Middle Kingdom rose Chang’an — the City of Eternal Peace, first founded in 202 BC beneath the banners of the Han. For centuries it grew, until under the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD) it blazed like the heart of the world — a city of silk and gold, where a million souls moved through lantern-lit streets and the Emperor’s gaze reached from palace to desert. But peace is a fragile dream; rebellion came like winter, and the city of heaven turned to ash. Now it sleeps beneath Xi’an’s soil, its heartbeat faint, its glory whispered only by the wind.
