As I had stated in the last part, Tiki Island is for sure the turning point in the game where the challenges are all getting harder. Today's part is no exception, seeing it's the third hardest race in the game, as well as the second longest course in the game. One particular point that I haven't made yet is that the game DOES punish you for doing terrible in a race. If you are unable to be in first place or close to first place, you will never reach first place. This is very prevalent in the time differences between cars when the scoring for each race happens. This is why I restarted the race at 7:23 so I could get the 100% for the game. Now that that is out of the way, the main focus for this race is your skills with the power slide mechanic, as well as both jump ramps leading into vertical zip strips. If you are not comfortable with these mechanics as of now, I would recommend practicing this race in the Arcade Mode that I had shown off in the first episode.
