Wildfire Aftermath: Restoring the Eagle Creek Trail | On Location - Ep. 106 Trail Blazers

The Eagle Creek Fire was a destructive wildfire in the Columbia River Gorge, unfortunately sparked in late 2017 by fireworks during a burn ban. Sterling joins volunteers of the Pacific Crest Trail Association alongside the US Forest Service to address fire restoration and cleanup of the Eagle Creek Trail, where falling rocks and torpedoed trees make the area especially hazardous. It's hard work, but someone has to do it.
