This is still in Beta, but the new Weremoose can reliably kill Dragonfly without the panflute. Just bring a punching bag or chester to maintain your wereness and enough healing food to bring yourself back to full HP in between transformations.

Kiting can obviously be improved, however looking back I would probably not kite her if I know she's not about to enrage since you gain a bunch of HP back while she goes to spawn lavae.
