Hajra Bibi (Gurdev Kaur Sundhu) was separated from her family at the time of India Pakistan partition in 1947. Gurdev Kaur was living in Canada at that time. In 2018, her interview consisting of her autobiography was published on a YouTube channel. Due to this interview, she is reconnected with her sister, living in Chichawatni Pakistan. the story took another tragic turn when Gurdev Kaur Sandhu passed away due to cardiac arrest on August 15, 2020.
Now Bill Sundhu and Sandra the son and daughter of Hajra Bibi/Gurdev Kaur Sundhu, along with seven other family members visited Pakistan to see their aunt.

Through YouTube and personal dedication, Desi Infotainer is preserving the stories of those who experienced the violence of Partition and helping families to reconnect.
We travel from village to village to collect these stories. we believe that there is a sea of forgotten tales which should be discovered.
