It's that time of the year again: every autumn, the beet campaign takes place all over Europe and you can spot STAS tippers filled to the brim with beet everywhere. Did you know that the lead time between the harvest of a beet and the processing of that same beet is just a few days maximum? This super fast lead time directly increases the efficiency of the production process because beets start losing their sugar content from the moment that they are harvested. Hence, the faster the harvest arrives at the sugar factory, the more sugar we can get out of it with the same energy and resource input. And if you say efficiency, you say STAS Trailers of course!

The transport from the field to the sugar factory is usually done with an Agrostar, our aluminium tipper for agricultural transports. In some cases the Farmstar moving floor trailer is more efficient, because the right choice of trailer strongly depends on the transports you do for the rest of the year.
