Haute Route Pyrenees 2022: Hiking the HRP in September

I hiked the Haute Route Pyrenees (HRP) from Hendaye to Banyuls-sur-mer in 2022. I started on the 23rd of August and finished the hike on the 27th of September. The HRP is a long-distance hiking trail through the Pyrenees that runs along the main ridge of the range. Along with sections on the GR10 on the French side and the GR11 on the Spanish side, the rest of the trail often runs on unmarked trails in between, making it a challenging alternative.

Vom 23. August bis zum 27. September 2022 bin ich die Haute Route Pyrenees von Hendaye nach Banyuls-sur-mer gewandert. Der HRP ist ein Fernwanderweg durch die Pyrenäen, der am Hauptkamm des Gebirges verläuft. Neben Abschnitten auf dem GR10 auf der französischen Seite und dem GR11 auf der spanischen Seite verläuft der restliche Weg oft auf unmarkierten Wegen dazwischen, was ihn zu einer herausfordernden Alternative macht.
