Measuring Seebeck Coefficient of Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3.0

Описание к видео Measuring Seebeck Coefficient of Bi0.5Sb1.5Te3.0

This is a rudimentary test to measure the Seebeck coefficient of a p-type thermomaterial Bi0.5Sb1.5te3.0. This was made using raw Bismuth (99.9%), Tellurium (99.99%) and Antimony(99.9%). Just to put it in perspective, the raw material probably cost about $1USD. The three elements were weighed, crushed up into a powder with a mortar and pestle, vacuum sealed in a glass tube and then heated in a furnace at 620C for 3 hours.

This is an p-type thermal material.
