The song is composed by Famous Khasi Folk Singer-Songwriter Josephas Thongni from Pyndengrei Nongstoin way back in 2016. Josephas’ daughter Dareen had a chance to sing the song in 2016 at a community event at Pyndengrei when she was 5 years old. Ever Since, the family had longed to record the song and fortunately it was finally recorded in 2023. With Elfiba as a co-singer and Ms.Badahun Nongrum in the backup vocals, the song successfully caught the attention of the listeners all across the region.
