A must-see if you want to see typical Dutch nature landscapes. It is located between the cities of The Hague and Rotterdam (closer to Rotterdam), near the town of Maasland, municipality of Midden-Delfland.

The Vlietlanden in Midden-Delfland is a peat area with real old-fashioned Dutch nature. This wet land has never been poldered, which is almost nowhere to be found in the Netherlands. As a result, the soil has not settled and the area is higher than the surrounding polders.

Een aanrader als je typische Nederlandse natuur landschappen wilt zien. Het ligt tussen de steden Den Haag en Rotterdam (dichterbij Rotterdam), bij de plaats Maasland, gemeente Midden-Delfland.

De Vlietlanden in Midden-Delfland is een veengebied met echte ouderwetse Nederlandse natuur. Dit natte land is nooit ingepolderd, wat bijna nergens voorkomt in Nederland. De bodem is daardoor niet ingeklonken en het gebied ligt hoger dan de omringende polders.
