I was once again able to get together with my dad and do a hunt. We returned to Redfeather in the hopes of getting some whitetail and blacktail deer. It turns out that wasn't exactly what we would end up with. Sure, we got a few whitetails while the blacktail eluded us, but the moose were out in force along with a few bears. And the moose had a vengeance to pick with us. I ended up on the wrong side of one of those encounters. But all in all, it was a good hunt, and I got to hear a few more of my dad's hunting stories which I now get to share with you.
